Thank you! Have you heard of HDR? Basically I take a series of pictures with different exposures and then merge them together using either photoshop or a program called Photomatix. After that I might just tweak with the contrast, etc. but that's it 
I haven't heard of it, I will have a look into it though. Your pictures are all incredible and your DD was well deserved. Congrats
